ATMOS elsa, single-channel tourniquet

ATMOS elsa is a single-channel tourniquet for a bloodless surgical field during procedures on arms and legs. An integrated compressor and integrated battery allow it to operate without central compressed air and without mains power. Suitable for mounting on a mobile stand or surgical tower, and used together with a tourniquet cuff.

Intended for trained healthcare professionals in an operating theatre environment. Pressure and time are determined by the responsible physician. Contraindications and warnings are provided in the instructions for use.

Operation

Pressure and time are set on a 4.3-inch touchscreen with language-neutral symbols. The screen can be operated with gloves. The tourniquet time is displayed as a countdown or count-up.

Safety features

• Self-test on start-up, automatic leakage management.
• Automatic pressure regulation in the event of pressure deviations.
• Switches to battery power during a power failure, cuff pressure is maintained.
• Adjustable alarm for elapsed tourniquet time.
• Dual microprocessor, one for control and one for safety.

Report printer

The version with printer automatically prints a report of the procedure: start time, pressure changes, safety messages and end time, with fields for patient ID and signature.
