Swedish technique cane (model 3) is a foldable white cane for orientation for people with visual impairment. It is available in children's and adult versions and consists of three, four or five sections depending on length.
Children's and adult models
The children's models are 60–105 cm and have a round golf handle. The adult models are 85–160 cm and have a golf handle with a flat side. Both versions are available in lengths of 85–105 cm.
Construction
The cane is made of white-lacquered, special-alloy aluminium tubes with anodised joints. The wrist strap holds the sections together when the cane is folded.
Ferrule and attachment
A spherical hard plastic ferrule with a diameter of 25 mm is included. The European fitting makes it possible to change to another compatible ferrule.
