Digital thermometer SC 44 Flex

Digital maximum thermometer with flexible tip for rectal or oral temperature measurement. Measurement time is approximately 30 seconds and an audible signal indicates when the measurement is complete. The thermometer is waterproof and is available with a duck, frog, or penguin motif.

Memory and fever alarm

The last measured value is automatically saved. If a temperature of 37.5 °C or higher is measured, the fever alarm is activated by repeated audible signals and a flashing display. The maximum function shows the highest registered value during the measurement.

Measurement range and accuracy

The measurement range is 32.0–43.9 °C and the temperature is displayed in 0.1 °C increments. Accuracy is ±0.2 °C below 35.5 °C, ±0.1 °C between 35.5–42.0 °C, and ±0.2 °C above 42.0 °C.

Display and power supply

The measured value is shown on a three-digit LCD display. The thermometer is powered by a 1.5 V LR41 battery. The battery indicator shows when the battery needs to be replaced, and automatic shutdown occurs after approximately three minutes.

Dimensions and storage

Dimensions are 154 × 21 × 12 mm and the weight is approximately 18 g including the battery. Supplied with a transparent hard plastic case. Recommended storage temperature is 0–50 °C at 15–95 % relative humidity.
